1. Elementary Teachers (various grade levels)
    1. Elementary teachers must have at least a Baccalaureate Degree from a four-year college or university and hold certification from Alabama or another state with certification reciprocity
  1. K3 Pre-School Teacher
    1. Lead preschool teachers must, at a minimum, be at least 21 years old, possess specialized training in the early childhood development field, and at least one of the following:
      1. A human environmental science degree with a concentration in early childhood development or child development
      2. A special education degree in early childhood with a minimum of 18 credit hours in early childhood/child development coursework
      3. Early childhood education degree (BS, BA, MA, or MS)

  1. Secondary English Teacher (full or part-time)
    1. Secondary teachers must have earned at least a Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university.
      1. instruction in all advanced curriculum courses must be by persons teaching in their major field of study, area of certification or any discipline in which 24 semester hours of college credit have been earned.
      2. instruction in junior high and/or general curriculum courses must be by persons with 18 or more earned semester hours of college credit in the specific discipline taught.
